Freitag ist Blogtag bei den MacGuardians! Also hereinspaziert... So neu ist er ja nun nicht, der Name Mac News. In diesem Fall handelt es sich aber um das knallneue MacUser Weblog mit "News from a PC User that made the big switch" aus dem malerischen Raleigh, NC. Hm, und den hier, hatten wir den schon? Ich glaube nicht: Mac-Mike aka Mike Wendland, der Technology Columnist der Detroit Free Press. Hat auch erfolgreich vom PC zum Mac geswitcht und betreibt seitdem ein täglich aktualisiertes MacLog. Witzig eigentlich, dass "Bekehrte" (siehe Kais Link zum Spiegel) einen besonders starken Antrieb entfalten, sich und ihr Konvertitentum der Webwelt mitzuteilen. Naja, das ist wahrscheinlich ein typischer Effekt der Erleuchtung ;-))) Fachlich speziell für die Admins unter unserer grünen Leserschar interessant ist MacIT.org, mit seinen "Notes from a Macintosh systems administrator". Während sich hinter dem herrlichen Titel breaking windows Ken Edwards "look at Microsoft Windows XP from a Mac Users' perspective..." verbirgt. Gute Idee, fein umgesetzt. Ganz besonders freut uns, zu sehen, dass die Mac-Welt auch in Estland ihre Fans findet. In Haapsalu, um genau zu sein, nicht allzuweit von Tallinn. Denn genau dort ist Selfish Little World zuhause, das Weblog eines überzeugten Mac-Users (Tipp: Mal auf "eesti" klicken - Estnisch ist eine für unsereiner recht skurril ausschauende Sprache, die hier und da vage vertraut wirkt, dann aber wieder komplett exotisch...). Zum Abschluss für heute und bevor wir Euch ins wohlverdiente Weekend entlassen, möchten wir noch eine Frage stellen: Wie halten's eigentlich die Mac-Usergroups mit dem Blogging? Antwort: Nun, einige sind rechtzeitig auf den Nanopublishing-Zug aufgesprungen. So zum Beispiel die The Huntsville Macintosh Users Group, die sich den Luxus eines gut recherchierenden MacUser-Weblogs gönnt. Ebenso wie - jawoll! - die Mac User Group Braunschweig. Auch wenn es da mit dem Updating noch ein bisserl klemmt. Aber immerhin, das ist ein Anfang. Damit Roger and Over für heute. Zumindest in Sachen MacBlogs.Kommentare
