Ein feiner Artikel in der Technology Review offeriert 13 Optionen, wie man den Mac mini auf ungewöhnlichen Wegen nutzt. Als wenn es dessen noch bedürfte... Interessanter ist da schon das Statement von Kurt Opsahl für die EFF, der begründet, warum die Electronic Frontier Foundation juristisch auf Apples aggressives Vorgehen gegen AppleInsider, PowerPage und ThinkSecret reagieren will. Ebenfalls von interesse – jedenfalls für jene, die finanziell in Apple engagiert sind – scheint uns die Tatsache, dass Apple eine neue Investor Relations Seite angelegt hat. Vermutlich sinnvoll im Vorfeld des Mac mini und iPod shuffle Booms ;-) Wobei sich letzterer übrigens soeben von Associated Press-Mann Ron Harris eine ausgesprochen positive Bewertung eingefangen hat. Tz-tz-tz, was da bloß mit AP los ist? Wer auf siebziger Jahre-Rock steht, wird gewiss ein offenes Ohr haben für MyMacs Guy Serles positive Review der neuen Rock For GarageBand Loops von Advanced Media Group – inklusive Guys eigener, akustischer Beispiele à la Led Zeppelin. Und zum Abschluss noch ein Hinweis auf das recht gelungene Weblog von Mike Matas, einem im M$-nahen Seattle lebenden Macianer. Wer nicht ganz so weit schweifen will, wirft einen Blick auf Johnny Haeuslers Gastblog bei IT&W, wo dieser recht ausführlich und durchaus inspirierend auf ein aus seiner subjektiven Sicht wünschenswertes iPhone eingeht. Ob das demnächst von Motorola kommende Handy seinen Ansprüchen genuugen wird? Wohl eher nicht... So. Damit sollte an diesem verschneiten Sonntagnachmittag für ein wenig Lesestoff gesorgt sein.
